As one of three projects out of 42 awarded an AIA Dallas 2020 Unbuilt Award, Freeways Hacked was listed as the only winner to explicitly address life after COVID-19. The proposal, in the form of a cheeky advertisement, called all to examine how our city allocates and utilizes urban space. The jury looked for bold ideas in design, and clearly found it in their project.
