Their proposal, Freeways Hacked, was the only winner to explicitly address life after COVID-19
ULIDFW wants to congratulate Andrew Barnes, one of our CFL Graduates and mTAP participants along with Sara Barnes for their accomplishments!
As one of three projects out of 42 awarded an AIA Dallas 2020 Unbuilt Award, Freeways Hacked was listed as the only winner to explicitly address life after COVID-19. The proposal, in the form of a cheeky advertisement, called all to examine how our city allocates and utilizes urban space. The jury looked for bold ideas in design, and clearly found it in their project.
