PLEASE READ our revised event schedule and refund policy below. Also note the ULI website for CRE best practices in light of current events at the bottom of this notice.
As a global organization, ULI has been dealing with COVID-19 in Asia for several weeks. The lessons learned there have been to be proactive and communicate quickly and clearly. After discussions with our national and local ULI leaders, this is the ULI Dallas-Fort-Worth meeting policy as of today:
All ULI Dallas-Fort Worth in-person events scheduled March 18 – June 30th have been postponed or cancelled.
All committee chairs should plan to hold meetings via conference call only. ULI can help you with Zoom video conference meetings if needed.
Event & Meeting Details:
The March 26 High Speed Rail Breakfast Forum has been rescheduled for September 16th, 2020.
If a registration fee has been paid for a postponed event, you may choose to either maintain your registration until the re-schedule date has been determined, or you may request a refund now. If you maintain your registration and the new date is not convenient for you, then you also may request a reimbursement when the new date is announced.
The What’s New, What’s NEXT Signature Event planned for April 29 is currently exploring utilizing webinars to share the LPC presentations. Dates and times TBD.
All Local Product Council Chairs have been requested to reschedule tour based meetings planned for 3/18 or later, and to communicate these changes to your members with a copy to Ann Halff. Ann can help you with logistics related to meeting venues and catering.
Young Leaders BIL program: work with the Boys and Girls Club and follow their direction on how to continue the program. Consider Zoom calls or other options if necessary.
We will continue to evaluate the situation, and update our policy as needed.
UPDATE: Spring Meeting 2019 has been cancelled. Please see the website for details regarding the cancellation, and watch for an email from ULI with additional details.

We sincerely appreciate our members and leadership in Dallas-Fort Worth. As our Global CEO recently shared: For over 80 years, ULI, through its members, has been a source of best practices and impartial information, and a forum in which real estate industry leaders can share ideas and experiences to help create and sustain thriving communities worldwide. In the weeks ahead, we will work together to continue that tradition.
