Young Leaders Group (YLG) was created to be a unique multi-disciplinary forum for young professionals, under the age of 35, to build relationships, learn from one another, and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become the next generation of successful real estate industry leaders. Since inception, our group has attracted more than 300 members from all over the Metroplex and all sectors of our real estate industry.

Why Be a Young Leader?

Becoming an active member of the YLG is an invaluable springboard and resource for young professionals wishing to catapult the success of their real estate career. Involvement offers the following benefits:

1. Special events only open to YLG Members include our Networking Coffees, Happy Hours and Mobile Tours, all geared to specifically compliment where you are in your career path. These events often combine helpful industry knowledge with the ability to establish networks with direct peers that will last your entire career.
2. Leadership and Mentoring Programs that give you access to our regional’s real estate leaders in a casual and candid environment, providing lessons-learned and true insight into the path taken by those that have come before.

Contribute to your Community and give back to your neighbors by volunteering your time and real estate knowledge in the YLG led initiative: Building Industry Leaders with the Boys and Girls Club. This group takes youth from local underprivileged communities and mentors them by providing valuable skills not found in traditional school settings.

If you are under 35 and an ULI member, you are already a YLG member!

To get the most out of your membership start with attending any of the Dallas-Fort Worth programs and events or our monthly casual happy hours (see below!).

Consider volunteering on one of our committees or with Building Industry Leaders. Dedicated volunteers are the backbone of ULI and there is no better way to jump-start your network both with peers and our region’s real estate leaders.
