    Cathy Janke

    Capital One

    Cathy Janke is a Senior Vice President of Originations for Capital One’s Commercial Real Estate group. In this role, she manages a $1.5 billion loan portfolio and is responsible for originating and supporting the team’s balance sheet growth in Texas. She joined Capital One in 2015 and has more than 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate, banking and finance industry. Specialty areas of lending include construction, bridge, subscription lines of credit, and permanent debt products. As a relationship lender she focuses on cultivating a holistic client relationship that includes cross-sell and referrals for internal specialists focused on deposit, treasury management, interest rate protection and Agency (Fannie/Freddie/HUD) lending. She is currently a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) - Dallas and The Real Estate Council (TREC). Her education consists of a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Texas A&M University-Commerce as well as graduating with Honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School, a two-year graduate-level management program.

    Kris Lowe

    JLL Capital Markets

    Kris is a Senior Director in the Dallas office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has more than 15 years of experience in finance, real estate and accounting. He is primarily responsible for originating and executing debt and equity placement transactions across all product types, with a focus on multi-housing properties. Over the course of his career, he’s participated in the execution of more than $8 billion in commercial real estate transactions and is a registered representative of Jones Lang LaSalle Securities, LLC (“JLLS”), a JLL company.

    Paul Geyer

    Executive Director, PGIM Real Estate

    Paul Geyer is a Principal with PGIM Real Estate Finance. In this role, he oversees the company’s Dallas office and is primarily responsible for originating a broad range of mortgage products in the Midwest and Southwest regions of the United States. Paul has more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate finance industry. Prior to joining the company in 2002, he served as vice president with J.P. Morgan Mortgage Capital Inc., where he led a loan origination team. Earlier, he was a vice president at Nomura Asset Capital Corp. Paul previously worked for Prudential Realty Group, representing the company in equity and debt transactions. Paul received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from DePauw University, and subsequently earned a Master of Business Administration degree, with concentration in finance, from the University of Chicago. He is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Paul currently serves on the Office Development Council of the Urban Land Institute, and sits on the board of The Real Estate Council in Dallas.

    Principal, Head of Originations, Mesa West Capital

    BIO: • 1996-2000 Yeshiva University (bachelor’s degree in accounting) • 2000-2003 Deloitte & Touche (auditor in the private equity group) • 2003-2005 UCLA’s Anderson School of Management (MBA w/ emphasis in Real Estate Finance) • 2005-Current Mesa West Capital (Principal, co-head of west coast originations) Mr. Fried is a Principal with Mesa West and co-heads the West Coast Originations platform. Prior to joining Mesa West in 2005, Mr. Fried worked as a Senior Accountant for Deloitte & Touche’s Private Equity Group in New York. Mr. Fried graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Yeshiva University in New York and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management with a focus in Real Estate Finance.
