ULI Dallas-Fort Worth women members are experts in a wide range of real estate related fields, but as we as individuals gain our own expertise, it can be a challenge to learn the basics for other fields. Because real estate specialties interrelate, it enriches our careers to have a solid working knowledge of topics outside of our own niche. This series will provide opportunities for a deep-dive into career-essential topics.
Our first session of the series will focus on finance in commercial real estate. Mollie Mossman, of Future World Real Estate and Harwood International, Inc. will lead the discussion, covering such concepts as the acquisition of land, land lease, market studies, loan types, lender types, equity and debt, cash flow and IRR.
