    Chris Strayer

    Parker County EDC

    Chris is responsible for leading the Parker County EDC's efforts to promote business growth and job creation in Parker County.   Prior to joining the Parker County EDC, Chris served as Executive Vice President of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. During his tenure, he secured more than $4 billion of investment and over 10,000 jobs across headquarters relocations, manufacturing, logistics, air freight, and military defense projects.   Before his work in Fort Worth, Chris was a senior project manager for Columbus 2020, the economic development organization for the 11-county region in Ohio.    Chris holds a B.S. in Urban and Regional Planning from Michigan State University and an Economic Development Finance Professional credential from the National Development Council.

    Alex Phillips

    City of Burleson

    Alex was appointed Director of Economic Development for the City of Burleson in October of 2020. Prior to his current role, Alex served as the Economic Development Manager for the previous four years. Alex has held positions in Engineering and Public Works which gives him the knowledge of the Development process from groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings and beyond. Alex takes immense pride in showcasing not only the community and what it has to offer but the team that that embraces each business that decides to call Burleson home.

    Travis Clegg is a licensed professional engineer with over 20 years of experience in civil engineering, land development, and program management. As a Director/Owner at Westwood Professional Services, he has led major projects, including serving as Program Manager for the 270-acre Clearfork/Edwards Ranch master-planned development in Fort Worth. He has built strong client relationships with leading developers such as Cassco Development, D.R. Horton, and Hawkins Custom Homes. A dedicated industry leader, Travis has held key roles in professional organizations, including Past Chair of the Greater Fort Worth Real Estate Council Government Affairs Committee and Chairman of the Fort Worth Development Advisory Committee. Recognized for his contributions, he has received numerous awards, including Fort Worth Business Press 40 Under 40 and Fort Worth Inc.’s Most Influential People.
