    Maggie Campbell

    President and CEO, Downtown Arlington Management Corporation

    Maggie Campbell is an entrepreneurial leader with a 30+ year history of leading downtown revitalization programs in both large and small cities. She currently serves as the President and CEO of the Downtown Arlington Management Corporation in Arlington, Texas (where she also served as its first President from 2006 – 2009). Previously, Maggie worked for MIG, Inc., a nationally respected planning, design and communications firm based in California. Ms. Campbell’s career experience includes work with the National Main Street Program in Texas, Oklahoma and Mississippi. While in Mississippi, she worked for the Mayor’s Office with the City of Jackson to help develop their new downtown organization. Ms. Campbell then served as the Events Manager for Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. helping produce major events and festivals such as the nationally-recognized MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Fest and The Parade of Lights. Ms. Campbell has led other major downtown organizations including the West End District in Dallas, TX, the Downtown St. Louis Partnership in St. Louis, MO, and the award-winning Old Pasadena District in Pasadena, CA. Maggie is passionate about making cities better places for people, and she loves learning and networking with other ULI colleagues.

    Chuck DiRocco

    Director, Real Estate Research , PricewaterhouseCoopers

    Chuck DiRocco is currently the Director of Real Estate Research at PwC and is based in Washington, DC, where his focus is on Emerging Trends in Real Estate covering the U.S., Europe, and Asia. In addition, he is an author and manager of various internal and external articles and data analyses on economics and commercial real estate. He also continues to be an industry speaker, providing numerous presentations for media and at conferences, webinars, and seminars. Mr. DiRocco has over 20 years of experience in the public and private real estate industry. Before working with PwC, Mr. DiRocco was the Managing Director of Client Services and Thought Leadership for Ankura. Mr. DiRocco's role there revolved around client relationships with private institutional equity and direct lending clientele, including global investment banks, insurance companies, pension funds, and various asset lenders and owners. Before Ankura, he served as the Director of Research at Altus Group. He created and produced The Real Confidence Executive Survey, Young Professional Survey, The University Challenge, and The Yardstick. In addition, Mr. DiRocco was the Vice President of Research for the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT). Mr. DiRocco's education includes a B.S. degree in Finance and an M.B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University with a concentration in Finance and investments. Also, he is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, a Homer Hoyt Fellow, a Counselor of Real Estate, a Certified Commercial Investment Member, and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

    Paul McCallum

    Executive Director, Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau

    Mr. McCallum has led the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau for 38 years. He initiated Grapevine’s Sister City program in 1993 beginning with Parras de la Fuente, Mexico. Mr. McCallum oversees the Festivals and Events programs, the Grapevine Vintage Railroad and Historic Preservation Programs. He has served as the past Chair of the Texas Association of Convention & Visitors Bureau, Chair of the Dallas Fort Worth Area Tourism Council, Grapevine Heritage Foundation, past Board Director of Destination International Foundation, Texas Festival and Events Association and Texas Travel Alliance. Mr. McCallum currently serves as CVB liaison to Grapevine’s Economic Development Committee and was recently inducted into the prestigious Texas Trail of Fame for his accomplishments as a Destination Development/Preservationist.

    Jennifer Scripps

    President & CEO, Downtown Dallas, Inc.

    Jennifer Scripps, a Dallas native and long-time civic leader, joined Downtown Dallas, Inc. as president and CEO in April 2022. She took the helm of the 90-employee organization at a time when Downtown Dallas is experiencing historic growth, including $6 billion in planned or ongoing development, thousands of new residents, and a string of high-profile corporate relocations. Jennifer’s focus is on guiding DDI’s strategic 360 Plan and overseeing major projects expected to get underway in the coming years, including Field Street District on the north, One Newpark to the south and the nearby redevelopment of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, to name a few. In her first year as CEO, DDI was one of the leaders in a city-wide coalition that championed a $1.5 billion ballot initiative to fund the convention center expansion and major improvements to Fair Park. Dallas voters approved the measure in a landslide. Jennifer previously served for six years as the director of the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture. In her prior role at Dallas City Hall, she oversaw a series of significant initiatives that elevated the arts throughout Dallas and across the country. Prior to her time with the City of Dallas, she served in multiple roles with the Perot Museum of Nature & Science, including overseeing the day-to-day construction and business planning of the museum just north of the Central Business District. Scripps graduated from Ursuline Academy of Dallas in 1995. She has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. She and her husband, Andy, and their two young sons are residents of the White Rock Lake area in East Dallas.

    Andy Taft

    President, Downtown Fort Worth, Inc

    Andy is a native of Tampa, Florida and graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Marketing. He began his career in commercial real estate with the Florida Commercial Development Association and then joined Grubb & Ellis of Florida as a commercial real estate salesman in the downtown Tampa market. In 1992, he joined the Tampa Downtown Partnership as its Director of Marketing and Business Development. Andy served Shreveport, Louisiana’s Downtown Development Authority for six years as its Executive Director and while there was instrumental in relocating City Hall back to downtown after a 40-year absence, created a new public parking management program and authored the downtown strategic plan. Andy was Chairman of the United Way of NW Louisiana in 2001. Andy was also the President of Downtown Shreveport Unlimited and the Downtown Shreveport Development Corporation. Andy joined Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. and Downtown Fort Worth Initiatives, Inc. as President in 2003. DFWI is Fort Worth’s downtown advocacy organization, and it manages the downtown planning process, two Public Improvement Districts, the downtown Tax Increment Finance District, and two city parks. DFWII produces the MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival and Parade of Lights and developed the JFK Tribute in Fort Worth. He serves on the Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Boards of Directors and is a member of the Fort Worth Homeless Commission. Andy was the Chairman of the International Downtown Association Board of Directors in 2011.
