Possibly our best October WLI Networking Event yet will be a FALL-tastic Walking Tour and Happy Hour at The Dallas Arboretum during the best time of year! Event Sponsors & Hosts, SWA and Rogers-O'Brien, will take attendees on a saunter through the famous pumpkins and gardens as they candidly discuss their experiences in working with this unique combination of non-profit and publicly owned organization. SWA’s long history with the Arboretum will offer some fantastic insight on the challenges and successes of designing around established gardens, while Rogers-O'Brien will offer a candid breakdown of the logistics behind the physical creation of their collaborative project: the award winning "A Tasteful Place" garden and it’s stunning visual and hands-on education center. After the tour, everyone will gather for a picnic style networking happy hour with wine, cheese and crackers- in possibly the most beautiful setting in all of DFW!
Be sure to bring your sneakers, and don’t forget a camera! (Trust us- NO one can resist taking photos of the pumpkins!)
